Overloon, Militracks

In Overloon, eastern Netherlands,  is the National War Museum Overlooon,  which is on the original location where in 1944 heavy fighting between German, British and American forces took place with a lot of casualties on both sides but also great losses in lives to the population of this region. And of course a lot of their properties were also destroyed, be it houses, farms, cattle, etc ,

In the museum, yearly a day is reserved for showing German vehicles, be it trucks, personal carriers and tanks. An impression in pictures underneath.

the King Tiger came from the French Cavalry Museum at Saumur. It took ages to get this beast to Overloon. And it was the great attraction of the day.
